Monday, March 1st, 2010roof? glass? i’ve seen that alot. if it is, they have built in gutters on interior side (bottom of top) they may be clogged up. also on outside (top) they would use a rubber gasket, it probably shrank and has one -two inch gaps now. my experience in replacing glass shows that removing glass gives access to those gutters clean them out clean glass and gaskets and replace. seal up the gaps only, too many people use too much sealant and may clogg the weeps (drain holes). it easy, little tricky getting at all the glass. planks will be needed. they are made to let water in, into the gutters and drain out at bottom of roof. hope that helps

Sunday, February 28th, 2010I live in Missouri and we only have to have permits for building an addition if we live within the city limits if we live outside the city limits we do what we want except for putting in a new septic system unless you have one that is grandfathered in..in which case the EPA has no control and neither do the plumbers that want to make you buy what you don’t need.
Just check to see the ordinances for city and county.

Saturday, February 27th, 2010I am picking shades for my babys room. We are trying to decide on black out or not. I think it will be nice if the room got dark in the day so he can nap. But, my husband feels that the sun light is better for the baby. Anyone have any ideas?

Saturday, February 27th, 2010When we moved into this house, last owner didn’t leave us the building permit for the Sun room. Now when we are going through a re-fi process, we are asked for such a permit. Where can I get a copy? Why does the loaner want to see that? Thanks.
