I am thinking of having a conservatory built & would like to know if anyone can recommend the National Replacement Window Advisory Service in York. Are they really independent or just another window company?

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010Hi, my neighbour has built a huge conservatory (3m high) about 20cm from boundary line/fence. The side is all clear glass which means they may as well be sat in our back room for all the privacy it gives. There was no discussion/info and we had a good relationship before so cannot understand this. Anyway, it now appears to be a kitchen ext. too (L shape from kitchen through). There is no perm.door seperation. -regs are a little confusing-can anyone summarise if this fits the bill for planning perm. exemption as we have not had any correspondence that this has been sought. Please also any advice about side clear glass overlooking and side window opening directly over the boundary line. Thanks
