When we moved into this house, last owner didn’t leave us the building permit for the Sun room. Now when we are going through a re-fi process, we are asked for such a permit. Where can I get a copy? Why does the loaner want to see that? Thanks.

Sun Room/dining Room?
Saturday, February 27th, 2010I live in an old house that doesn’t have a dining room. I am thinking about converting my small deck into a sun room that can be used as a dining room. Are there any good websites that have pictures of small sunroom designs?
Our Neighbour Has Built A Single Storey Conservatory With Windows That Look Into Our Kitchen Window?
Saturday, February 27th, 2010We have a large kitchen diner with 2 windows, one of which looks directly into our neighbours kitchen (left side of the room) (so the blind is always closed), then one on the right side that looks into the garden. The neighbour on the right has just built a conservatory with normal windows all the way round.
Because the conservatory has been built about 3 or 4 foot from the 3foot fence (which belongs to the neighbour and has been erected in our land, not where it should have been), her windows look directly into our kitchen, into the only window that we could open the blinds on. The woman next door owns her house, we rent ours from the council and she hates us for it. She has told me that we are council scum because we don’t own our house, so we can’t speak to her about anything. She’s really nosey and is always looking in now.
Is there not a law about invasion of privacy? The council are not helpful, as usual, so I need to give them the facts! Trouble is, I don’t know them yet!
Which Windows Would Be Better In A Sun Room – United Windows 4100 Series Or Atrium Windows 450 Series?
Saturday, February 27th, 2010The builder first suggested the United Windows 4100 Series. When we told him that we wanted quality windows, he suggested the Attrium 450 New Construction windows. The Attrium Windows adds $1600 to the project but I really do not know if they are any better than the United Windows. I know nothing about windows. Please help.. we want energy efficient windows that provide a nice view of our wooded back yard.
Hi -i’m Based In The Uk And Want To Check Whether The Glass In My Conservatory Is Safe. How Can I Tell?
Friday, February 26th, 2010The conservatory was apparently built within the last 10 years but the company has since gone out of business and we’ve had some problems with the sub-standard workmanship and aftercare. I’m worried that the glass might also be sub standard – one pane is definitely different from the others as it is, and water ‘blurs’ down it rather than standing out in drops when it rains. No markings/letters are visible.

How Much Per Square Feet Cost For Sun Room In California?
Friday, February 26th, 2010It probably depends on what city in California. Real estate prices vary from city to city, so price per sq. foot will also vary. Also, are you talking about how much is it to build? Or how much an existing structure is worth? I think you need to provide more information in your question. Good luck
Conservatory Door Question?
Friday, February 26th, 2010I got a conservatory built last year. It gets very hot inside and I like to leave the door open. Problem is, the door opens out and blows about in the wind and I’m worried about damaging the hinges. As the doors dont open back fully I can’t prop them open against the wall. Do you know of any device that will keep them in the open position? I know this question doesnt make much sense but sorry, I cant find a better way to word it!!
